All roads leading to Apapa area of Lagos state will be widely open on August 24, 2022, as the Peoples Forum Plus Magazine will hold its 13th year anniversary
The one-day grand event which will hold at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, will also
Feature lecture and honours to notable stakeholders.
The 13th anniversary will attract eminent personalities drawn from the shipping sub-sector, industry, commerce, banking, Oil and Gas and politics.
The theme of this year’s anniversary is “Economic Implications of Nigeria’s security challenge.
Well known security experts are billed to proffer solutions to the current security situation that has put Nigeria in comatose.
An erudite maritime scholar, the founder of Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria, Prof. Alex Okwuashi is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour while the former National President, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs agents (ANLCA), Prince Olayiwola Shittu will be the Chief Guest of Honour.
The management will use the anniversary to appreciate individuals that have been source of encouragement to the magazine over a decade ago.
People’s Forum Plus magazine started in 2004 as a maritime journal but became general interest tabloid in 2008 when it had its first anniversary/lecture/ awards.
Since then the management has been keeping to the yearly anniversary save for 2020 COVID-19 when the anniversary could not hold.
This year, the magazine celebrates her 13th year dwelling on security challenge facing the nation, it’s hoped that the anniversary would provide a perfect solution to the security issue as the election year is approaching fast.
