MD NPA pledges port infrastructure upgrade to drive safety, efficiency

Managing Director of theNigerian Ports Authority NPA, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho has assured port industry stakeholders that the Authority under his watch is committed to upgrading the country’s port infrastructure across all locations. This is with a view to ensuring navigational safety, efficiency and competitiveness of the seaports.

Addressing a large audience at this year’s edition of the World Maritime Day WMD celebration, which held in Lagos, Thursday, with the theme: “Navigating the Future: Safety First”, Dr. Dantsoho, who was represented by the Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services, NPA, Ibrahim Abba Umar, said the new management is doing everything possible to upgrade port infrastructure to make them world-class.
