NUJ Mosque Gets a Boost, As Katsina Monarch, Bello Donates Islamic Books

The kanwan Katsina District head of Ketare Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has donated religious books to Katsina State council of Nigeria Union of Journalist mosque.

The books donated include copies of the Holy Qur’an, volumes of Sahih Buhari hadith collection, and other English translated version of the religious scriptures.

Presenting the books to the state NUJ chairman, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara said it was part of the efforts towards the development of Islam.

The district head who was represented by the his media aid Malam Jamilu Hashimu Gora urge the mosque committee to always take care of the mosque.

The Kanwan Katsina said he will continue to pay unscheduled visit the mosque to assess the level of development and assured of his continued support.

Receiving the books on behalf of the mosque community, the chairman of the Katsina state council of the NUJ comrade Tukur Hassan Dan Ali thank the Kanwan Katsina for his continued support and assistance to the mosque and the NUJ secretariat as a whole.

Comrade Tukur Hassan Dan Ali later handed over the books to the mosque committee and thank them for executing various developmental projects in the mosque premises.

On behalf of the mosque community, a member of the mosque committee engineer Mohammed thank the Kanwan Katsina for the assistant and assured to take care of the books and the entire mosque.
