Troops of Forest Sanity have neutralized eight Terrorists in Some communities in Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara State Northwest, Nigeria.
A statement by the Director of Defence Media Operations Major General Musa Danmadami says, the troops were conducting fighting patrol to clear the Terrorists’ camp at Dutse Uku forest in Lanke and Danmarke villages of Gummi LGA where they killed eight Terrorists while others scampered with gunshot wound.
The troops exploited the general area after the fire fight and rescued four kidnapped victims, recovered six AK 47 rifles, forty rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, six AK 47 magazines and thirty two motorcycles among others items.
The military high command commends troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encourages the general public to avail the troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities.
