The Delta state university, Abraka has backed off from the on-going ASUU strike as it has finally resumed academic session.
Frontline Reporters gathered that following the state governor’s directive, the Senate of the university, held an emergency meeting and directed all students and staff to resume immediately.
On the 16th of March 2022, the students Union leadership had issued a statement calling for the sack of the VC, professor Andy Egwunyenga, over his refusal to order the commencement of academic activities.
However, the decision of the DELSU VC to join the ASUU strike had been condemned by concerned stakeholders and students in the state.
