The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara ‘mni’ has called on politicians in his domain to fear God and put the interest of the electorate at heart for the development of the area.
Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara made the call recently when officials of Ketare Youth Development Association KEYDEMA under the leadership of the chairman comrade Mudassuru Lawal Gurbi paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
The chairman of the Association Comrade Mudassuru Lawal Gurbi informed the Kanwa that they were at the palace of Royal Father to introduce to him two of their members who wished to contest for the offices of councillorship from his district in the forth coming local government elections.
Comrade Mudassuru Lawal Gurbi said Abdulaziz Mohammed Ketare who is the Associations Secretary wishes to contest for councillorship in Ketare/HuryaWard whileNasiru Gurbi the organizing Secretary is to contest for councillorship of Pawwa, Katoge and GurbiWard in Kankara Local Government Area.
The chairman of the association seeks for the blessings and prayers of the traditional ruler for their members in the forth coming local government elections.
Responding, Kanwan Katsina, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara commended the efforts and contributions of the Association towards the development of Ketare district in Kankara local government area of Katsina state.
The traditional ruler charged politicians in his domain to be just and fair and to repose the confidence bestowed upon them by the electorates.
Kanwan Katsina 3rd prayed for them and urged them to continue to contribute their quarter for the improvement of living standard of people of Ketare District.
He said his doors will always remain open for advice for the development of the area in terms of human and capital development.
