The management of Frontline Media International has commended the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority ‘NPA”, Dr Mohammed Bello-Koko for working so hard and resultantly achieving so much within a short period he has held sway as the chief executive of the Organisation.
The Executive Director of Frontline Media Int’l, Mr. Godwin Obi made the commendation Tuesday while presenting the prestigious “Best Public Servant of the Decade (2012-2022)” Award to Dr. Mohammed Bello-Koko through his heads of communication Department
Mr. Obi said the recognition is a testament to his exceptional leadership and remarkable achievements in transforming the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) within a short period.
He said Dr. Bello Koko’s outstanding administrative savvy wholesomely deployed in the agency has undoubtedly made a significant impact on the nation’s maritime sector, adding that through his visionary approach and effective management, he has brought about substantial positive changes and improvements within a remarkably short period.
He added that Bello-Koko’s transformative initiatives and reforms have enhanced the efficiency, productivity, and transparency of the Nigerian Ports Authority. Under his leadership, the NPA has achieved remarkable milestones, such as implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, streamlining operational processes, and strengthening infrastructure development, adding that these efforts have undoubtedly contributed to the growth and development of the Nigerian ports, positively impacting international trade and the overall economy.
Many maritime stakeholders have commended Bello Koko’s dedication and commitment to public service, saying that his exemplary leadership has inspired and motivated others in the public sector to strive for excellence and deliver results that make a tangible difference in the port industry.
Commenting on the meritorious honour bestowed on Bello Koko, a transport sector practitioner, Commodore Gil Obi said his achievements as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority should serve as an inspiration to public servants across the nation and beyond, and congratulated the Managing Director on this well-deserved recognition as the “Best Public Servant of the Decade.”
Further paying a glowing tribute to the NPA helmsman, Commodore Obi observed that Bello Koko’s transformative efforts in the Nigerian Ports Authority have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the organization and the nation as a whole.
Earlier, the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Mrs. Josephine Moltok commended the organizers of the noble award for identifying her boss as indeed a go -getter who is always dedicated and committed in making sure that Nigerian Ports Authority becomes a reference port in the West and Central Africa sub-region.
