Easter: NIMASA DG Urges Christians to Embrace Sacrifice, Renew Faith for National Growth

The Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dayo Mobereola, has called on Christians to use the Easter celebration as a time for deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and recommitment to national service.
In his Easter message, Mobereola emphasized that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolize sacrifice, hope, and the promise of new beginnings. He urged Christians to renew their faith in God while sustaining hope for a better Nigeria.
According to him, the significance of Easter should inspire Nigerians to embrace fresh purpose and dedicate themselves to serving humanity and the nation with renewed vigor.
The NIMASA boss further encouraged Christians to uphold the core values exemplified by Christ—love, compassion, discipline, empathy, and sacrifice—stressing that such virtues are essential for fostering patriotism and driving national development.
He concluded by urging all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of Easter and work collectively toward building a safer, more united, and prosperous country.
