As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate Eid al-Adha, the Executive Chairman of the Apapa Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Chief Emeka Chukwumalu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful, especially stakeholders in the nation’s maritime industry.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the sacred festival, Chukwumalu described Eid al-Adha as a season that reflects the timeless virtues of sacrifice, faith, obedience, and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
The ANLCA Apapa Chairman urged Muslim faithful to embrace the deeper lessons of the celebration by remaining steadfast in love, charity, tolerance, and devotion to humanity.
He also called on operators within the maritime sector to use the festive period as an opportunity to strengthen unity and foster peaceful coexistence across the industry.
According to him, Nigeria and the global community are in dire need of prayers, peace, and renewed hope amid rising tensions and economic challenges.
Chukwumalu appealed to Muslims to pray fervently for the de-escalation of violence, national stability, and sustainable prosperity, expressing optimism that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir would usher in joy and renewed blessings for families and businesses alike.
He further noted that the maritime industry thrives on collaboration and mutual understanding, adding that the Sallah celebration should reinforce stronger partnerships among freight forwarders, customs agents, terminal operators, shipping companies, and other stakeholders.
The ANLCA chairman prayed for Allah’s abundant mercy and rewards upon the Muslim Ummah, wishing them a peaceful and memorable celebration.
“On this sacred occasion, I pray that Allah answers the prayers of the Muslim faithful, grants them peace of mind, lights up their hearts, and richly rewards their sacrifices and good deeds,” he said.
“May this Eid bring happiness, love, unity, and abundant blessings to every home. Eid Mubarak.”

Chief Chukwumalu further conveyed his heartfelt wishes to Muslim maritime stakeholders, praying that the celebration strengthens bonds of partnership and fosters continued success among the diverse operators in Nigeria’s maritime space.
The Chairman ended his Eid Mubarak message, praying that, “On this sacred celebration, I pray that Allah answers prayers of Muslim Ummah, light their hearts, and richly reward their good deeds. Wishing them all a happy Sallah filled with blessings and love.”
