Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria, Jerry Fwankis, has been abducted by gunmen.
This incident occurred at about 9pm on Sunday at his residence in Tangur, Bokkos Local Government Area of the state.
PDP State Publicity Secretary, John Akans who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said the abductors invaded the house of the party chairman while he was watching television and threatened to shoot anyone who raised alarm before taking him away
