In a heartfelt message brimming with optimism and statesmanship, the Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, mni, has extended his warm congratulations to Honourable Kasimu Dan Tsoho Katoge on his inauguration as Chairman of Kankara Local Government Area. The ceremony was presided over by the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, marking a new chapter for the local government.
Speaking on behalf of his family and the good people of Ketare District, the revered monarch described Hon. Katoge’s appointment as both timely and well-deserved. Drawing on Katoge’s impressive track record as a former member of the Katsina State House of Assembly and erstwhile Vice Chairman of the same local government, Alhaji Bello expressed confidence that his leadership would usher in a new era of progress, stability, and inclusive development.
“As a seasoned public servant with deep roots in this community, I believe Honourable Katoge is poised to bring meaningful transformation to Kankara. His experience, integrity, and commitment to service are the pillars that will guide this administration toward impactful governance,” the Kanwan Katsina remarked.
The traditional ruler assured the new chairman of the unwavering support and collaboration of Ketare’s traditional institutions, including ward heads and community leaders. He pledged full cooperation in the shared pursuit of progress and urged all stakeholders to rally behind the chairman for the greater good of Kankara.
In a moving show of goodwill, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, mni, prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and success for Hon. Katoge as he assumes office. He also extended commendation to the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal, the Sarkin Fulanin Joben Katsina—a distinguished son of Kankara—for his tireless efforts and developmental strides in Ketare and across the entire LGA.
