All roads leading to the country- home of the National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Chief Iju Tony Nwabunike, was on Friday 27th August kept wide open, as eminent politicians, customs agents and freight forwarders drawn from the various associations in the shipping industry all over the country converged in their hundreds for the burial of the mother of the ANLCA President, Nneora Maria Adaobi Nwabunike, a Quintessential Gentlewoman with a Love of Gold.

The burial ceremony of Late Nneora Adaobi Nwabunike was preceded by funeral rites which began Thursday 26th August 2021 at Ukuru-Eziora, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State with Service of Songs between 5pm and 6.30pm at the Late Chief Johnny Okafor Nwabunike Compound, Ezenwelike Village, Ukuru Ezeora, Ozubulu.
Burial mass began at 10 am on Friday and the ceremony proper began immediately at Central School Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ozubulu.

Late Nneora Maria Adaobi Nwabunike, a community leader, a devout Christian and philanthropist passed on recently after a brief illness.The high profile burial which was dominated by the political and business class drawn from various states of the federation saw former Governor Peter Obi, Obinna Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana Proprietor), Chief Hon. Chuma Nzeribe (Ezeala Dike of Ihiala, Igwe Orizu of Nnewi, Chief IKB Igboanugo, Registrar of CRFFN, Sam Nwakohu ESQ, Chief Henry Njoku and a host of other eminent personalities in attendance.

Members and representatives of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), the Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON), the Association of Registered Freight Forwarders Nigeria (AREFFN) and representatives of the maritime media were all at the palatial home of the ANLCA National President at Ozubulu for the burial ceremony of Nneora Nwabunike.

Apart from the customs agents, big time importers, business men and other politicians were also there in their numbers to grace the burial of Nneora – a Woman with a love of Gold.
