The Nigeria Immigration Service has informed it’s officers at various border posts across the country of a looming terrorist attack in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In a leaked letter circulating online the Nigeria immigration service said it received intelligence from the Presidency that some terrorists from West African neighbouring country, Mali, will move through the border Nigeria shares with Niger Republic to launch an attack in Abuja.
The letter dated December 23, 2021, was titled, ‘Terrorists Plan Attacks In Abuja’ was addressed to all sector commanders and border patrol corps all over the country and signed by the Land Border Patrol Commander, Edirin Okoto, on behalf of the Acting Comptroller General Of Immigration Service, Idris Jere.

In another development, operatives of Eagle-net Special Squad, Delta State Police Command have arrested eighteen year old Mamus Obine in possession of a locally made double barrel pistol and ten live cartridges during a Stop-and-Search operation along Ughelli/Warri Expressway.
The Command in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Bright Edafe says the suspect upon interrogation disclosed he was on a mission to rob and kill a gang member who defrauded him in a sharing formula of an eight hundred thousand naira robbed from an unsuspecting victim on the internet.

The statement while assuring residents in Delta State of the Command’s resolve to a crime free yuletide celebration, also says the police has began a manhunt to apprehend other members of the syndicate
