Kanwan Katsina District head of Ketare Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara ‘mni’ has commended the newly elected officials of the Alumni Association of National Institute of policy and strategic studies (AANI) Kuru Jos for the smooth conduct of their election, and charged the Katsina state government to use the wealth of experience of the Alumni of the great Association who have excelled in various field in the development of the state.
The Ketare district first citizen who is also chairman Heritage Committee also assured the readiness of the AANI members to partner with Katsina state government to give in their best for the return of peace and security and success of the administration.
The Alumni Association the great Institute has just elected new officials to run the affairs of the association for the next two years.
Those elected are Mohammed Lawal Aliyu Daura as Chairman, DIG Yakubu Mohammed rtd as vice chairman, Dr Kabir Ibrahim Matazu as Secretary, Alhaji Aminu Abu BAzariye as assistant Secretary, Alhaji SulaimanAbdullahi as financial secretary and Alhaji Kabir Abubakar as Treasurer.
Other includes Alhaji Labiru Musa Kafur as Publicity secretary, Arc Bishir Mohammed as welfare Secretary, Alhaji Lawal U Safana as internal Auditor and Alhaji USman Bello Kankara as chairman heritage committee.
In a post election speech, the Newly Elected Chairman of the Alumni Association of the National Institute Katsina State Chapter Alhaji Mohammed Lawal Aliyu Daura extolled the effort and support of the national officers for the successful conduct of the election.

Alhaji Mohammed lawal Aliyu Daura who is also the special adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Human and Capital Development assured to work to improve the welfare and living standard, and peace and security of people of the state.
He solicited for support and cooperation of other members to achieve the mandate and assured to justify the confidence repose on them.
Speaking, at the occasion, the National Chairman of the AANI Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar (Retd) congratulated the newly elected officials and charged them to work hard to justify the confidence repose on them.
Represented by the National Vice President AMB Emeka Okafor, IGP Mohammed Abubakar (Retd) assured the national body’s support to the Katsina State Chapter to achieve its mandate.
Others who spoke during the event include Alhaji Bello Musa Dan Kano, Brigadier General Sani USman kuka Sheka (Retd), Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Matazu among others.
Shortly after the swearing in, the newly elected executives paid a visit to the executive governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari in his office and later was hosted to a dinner by the Kanwan Katsina at his private resident in Katsina
